The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
